@siderea@glyph I use a domain fine in my SPF record? Could be because I'm not self hosting my email, just putting in my provider's domain, I don't actually know all that much about SPF records.
food/weight gain question@luna Not a doctor, dietitian, or know it all body builder, so take everything with a grain of salt.
If you're trying to gain weight you'll need to eat more calories, and if protein powder is an easy way for you to add some extra and you like it then great. But there's nothing inherently better about protein than carbs, and per gram fats provide more calories (but there's still no single "best"). Rice, pasta, and beans are cheap.
@lumi I think the matrix folk were pushing for a modified version that didn't require retaining ephemeral key data as long for out of order messages. It looks like there are still people working on an ietf draft. Not sure if they're the same effort.
petplay kink, silly@lunareclipse Queer raves are a good place to do that :3 Might be overstimulating though. Bring earplugs or over ear protection at least
@danderson I've never actually used rust for wasm, but it seems like there are still people building support for compiling rust to wasm (and using wasm in rust, and making a wasm runtime in rust) blog.rust-lang.org/2024/11/26/wasip2-tier-2/
sarcastic@HeavenlyPossum@jargoggles@vapaad It's a well known fact that doctors, nurses, and EMTs only help patients because insurance companies force them to.
@reece@ikesau In my experience and everyone else I know that self hosts it, nextcloud is slow, surprisingly resource intensive, and fragile feeling. They have a whole ecosystem of plugins so you can extend its functionality but many are half baked or broken. I also recommend looking elsewhere.
Syncthing for file sync is the best bet. I'm happy with it. But it's not a gdrive alt.
github.com/opencloud-eu might be okay. It looks promising, but I haven't personally used it.
Immich looks like the best for photos only, but also haven't personally used.
@siderea Sometimes you can kind of do that by downloading the app from multiple places, but it depends on if they use a different internal name. Unfortunately FairEmail does not; downloading from github, play, and fdroid all use eu.faircode.email . Don't know about K-9. If you built it yourself it'd be easy to change the name, but I doubt this is the answer you're looking for.
