have you ever bought a potato, intending to turn it into a dinner, only for it to become another reminder of your inability to manage a daily life as it sat there, day after day, until it started growing sprouts as if to taunt you?

because I certainly haven’t! this sweet potato was
meant to sprout for a month on the kitchen counter!

see, it was all totally a part of the plan to have another species of vines as a potted plant.

the sprouts have grown nice and healthy, ready to be separated from the potato and put into water for a few days, to develop their own roots. they should be ready for replanting into soil within a few more days.

when life gives you ADHD, make more potatoes or something.

I've given up on buying most fresh vegetables and rely on frozen, dry, and caned now for this reason x3

I still get potatoes telling myself they last longer stored right, and still have had this happen a couple times.
