went to a book club last night topic was (meta) debating whether ppl read in the modern tech era etc I make a point about how I appreciate how many great authors there are currently writing, I mention reading scifi since I was a kid and how much better the writing is now and how it's so cool to have so many diverse perspectives exploring awesome science fiction guy at the club immediately leaps to say women have different brains than men and just want to read fantasy porn
