It's funny how Bitwarden did the thing with closing down a significant part of the codebase (while still marketing itself as a fully open source password manager too) and months after that the software quality took a nosedive and now it's completely broken on some platforms.

It's extremely frustrating; seems like there's no good free* cross platform cloud password manager. I'd say it's a niche to be filled if it wasn't already so darn crowded.

Best we can do now seems to be cobbling together keepass format managers and our own syncing solution, but that's not an easy recommendation to make to people.

*or lowcost. 1password seems like they might be the best cloud option right now, but $50 a year is a lot harder to sell than Bitwarden's paid plan.
