food/weight gain question
@lunaNot a doctor, dietitian, or know it all body builder, so take everything with a grain of salt.
If you're trying to gain weight you'll need to eat more calories, and if protein powder is an easy way for you to add some extra and you like it then great. But there's nothing inherently better about protein than carbs, and per gram fats provide more calories (but there's still no single "best"). Rice, pasta, and beans are cheap.
