Chat I have a dilemma. One of these 3 things have just happened to me:
a) My memory is fucked up and I've sent a follow request I don't remember to a person who created the account today and had no posts when I sent it (super strange in me).
b) I'm plural and a headmate I don't remember about has done (a) (but I'm pretty sure I'm not plural, or at least not in the amnesia way)
c) Fedi follow requests can be spoofed, so my instance has received an acceptance message of a follow I haven't sent and I'm now following somebody new.
@cinnamon Someone is migrating their account to another instance, and the followers follow automatically. So, the d) answer is correct. The migration may take some time, so check this account in a day or two.
@cinnamon@agturcz Akkoma was weird cause when someone migrated it would send a notification that they followed you, even if you were not mutuals and they haven't followed you from their new instance either
