One of the best things about being an Emacs user is that as I am updating all of my apps (as one must, for security and whatnot), I am confident that Emacs is not going to tell me that it helpfully now has support for Apple Intelligence
I realize that most app authors must believe this is a thing users want, but the subjective experience as a security-sensitive user is that every time I see this in release notes I have to sigh and carefully review whether this is just on-device models or whether the new "AI" features are an exfil vector I need to be aware of as a new risk
(I can sympathize with the authors, because while the question "if users don't care, why would apple be pouring billions of dollars into a worthless scam?" does have an answer, I understand the fact that the answer is not obvious)
